Miner Agricultural Research Institute<\/a> have successfully competed for acceptance into the Cornerstone Dairy Academy, offered through the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin. They will be attending a two-day conference in the Wisconsin Dells in during March, 2022.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Cornerstone Dairy Academy is for dairy industry members from across the country, and focused on building leadership skills at a dynamic professional-development training. Participation in this conference is intended to be a gateway to enhancing professionalism, communication and leadership skills needed for success in a 21st century workplace. This serves as an elite development program for students and dairy professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 academy participants from UVM include:<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1124 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/site.uvm.edu\/cals-news\/files\/2022\/02\/cornerstone-dairy-academy.png?resize=275%2C206\" alt=\"Students accepted into the Cornerstone Dairy Academy\" width=\"275\" height=\"206\" \/><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 25px\">\n<li>Emily Surrell, Windsor, VT<\/li>\n<li>Kate Rowley, Milton, VT<\/li>\n<li>Hannah Roberts, Newport Center, VT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dr. Khaled Said of Egypt, another participant, is also shown in the photo.<\/p>\n<p>The three students from Vermont are graduating seniors enrolled in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/cals\/asci\/uvm\/vtc-farms-2-2-program\">2+2 FARMS<\/a> program.
