UVM Nutrition and Food Sciences Associate Professor and Gund Fellow Meredith Niles<\/a> has been appointed as the Gund Institute for Environment’s acting director.<\/p>\n

Niles will direct the Gund Institute until August, 2023, while the institute’s director, Taylor Ricketts<\/a>, takes a research sabbatical.<\/p>\n

She commented on the appointment by stating, “This is a tremendous honor, and I’m eager to work with the Gund community of faculty, students and partners.” Niles believes that the Gund Institute’s vision will help to solve the world’s greatest problems.<\/p>\n
