Brian Vaughan, Horticulture Research and Education Center (HREC) Operations Coordinator<\/h3>\n

\"UVMBrian Vaughan is a 1999 UVM Plant and Soil Science graduate in urban forestry and landscape horticulture, with a minor in applied design.<\/p>\n

During his time as an undergraduate, Vaughan founded the UVM Horticulture Club which is still in existence and thriving today. After graduating, he started his own landscaping business designing and planting elaborate gardens throughout Chittenden County.<\/p>\n

In 2017, Vaughan began working for UVM in Grounds Maintenance. He began his current position at HREC in January 2023. His responsibilities include maintaining equipment, conducting safety trainings, and overseeing pesticide applications.<\/p>\n

Vaughan enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife Amy, their two teenage children, and four dogs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
