He has been living in Vermont and working for UVM since 2016. The Green Mountains make him feel like home. He has been taking classes since 2018 and is working towards an anthropology degree.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>He enjoys people and is curious why people do the things they do, and why they say the things they say. Chojola&#769;n is an explorer and is curious of all traditions and cultures. Recently he has been connecting with his Maya ancestors and the ancient ways.<\/p>\n<p>He migrated to the U.S. with his family when he was five years old and understands migrant challenges, from education, culture, foreign language and more.
