They will also talk about building resilience for everyday farm biosecurity practices that can help prepare for the worst.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The meeting will be located in the Steele Room at Waterbury Municipal Offices, 28 North Main Street Waterbury, VT 05676.<\/p>\n<p>Farm biosecurity includes the preventative measures a farmer can take to reduce the risks of infectious disease introductions and spread in livestock. It means doing what you can to reduce the chances of an infectious disease being carried onto a farm\/property by people, animals, equipment, or vehicles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/cals\/asci\/profiles\/dr_jana_kraft\">Jana Kraft<\/a>, UVM animal and veterinary sciences associate professor, will also give a presentation at the annual meeting entitled, Dairy Fat: Much Better Than Its Reputation.<\/p>\n<p>There is a $40 registration fee.
