UVM Extension Women’s Agricultural Network (WAgN) and New Farmer Project Coordinator Beth Holtzman have been awarded a $73,338 grant from the Northeast Extension Risk Management Education Program, for the Building Human Risk Management Know-How Among Women and Beginning Farmers project.<\/p>\n

The project will help farmers and farm employees across the Northeast learn about and adopt ergonomic, injury prevention, wellness, communication and leadership practices to create and maintain productive, well-functioning teams. This project is part of the Farm Labor Dashboard<\/a> initiative.<\/p>\n

Collaborators on the project include the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, Renewing the Countryside, the Pennsylvania State University Ag Safety and Health program, and American Farmland Trust.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
