Mari Rosenzweig<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Congratulations to Agroecology and Landscape Design Junior Mari Rosenzweig, who was awarded a summer internship at Longwood Gardens<\/a>, one of the most prestigious botanical gardens in the country.<\/p>\n

Mari credits her professors Mark Starrett and Eric von Wettberg with “[teaching] me a lot about plant ID and that is very important information that I will be using this summer. Between them and Terry Bradshaw always cheering me on throughout school, I feel prepared to handle this internship. I would not have this opportunity without them.”<\/p>\n

What advice would Mari offer to other students seeking internships? “I would say as silly as it sounds to just go for it. While this was my top choice, I didn’t fully think I would ever get it, but still applied. Always apply since you might get an interview like I did and, as long as you are well prepared for the interview, you have a much better chance.”<\/p>\n
