There are only three short answer questions on the application, but you may be contacted by the course instructor for more information prior to your acceptance. Please review each program&#8217;s webpage for specific dates, requirements, and eligibility information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CAS Domestic Travel Study programs are run by CAS&#8217;s Office for Experiential Learning &amp; Discovery (<a href=\"mailto:casinter@uvm.edu\">casinter@uvm.edu<\/a>). This is a separate entity and process from UVM&#8217;s International Travel Study programs, which are run through UVM&#8217;s Office of International Education. Any questions about international destinations should be sent to <a href=\"mailto:travel.study@uvm.edu\">travel.study@uvm.edu<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What is WorldStrides?<\/summary>\n<p>WorldStrides is UVM&#8217;s partner for domestic travel study and some international travel study programs. WorldStrides provides on-the-ground support and assists with travel logistics. This means that if something goes wrong, WorldStrides staff acts as a support to the UVM Faculty member as they work to solve the problem. Key to note that all of our programs are planned, taught, and executed by UVM faculty while WorldStrides staff acts in a supporting role and will accompany the group on location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you register for a UVM Travel Study program supported by WorldStrides, you will be required to register through WorldStrides in addition to registering for the course. Rest assured that any information you provide to WorldStrides is protected under our signed agreement with them&#8211;i.e. they will not be able to share your information with a third party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At no point will you pay WorldStrides directly for any part of this program. All program fees, deposits, etc. will be paid directly to UVM. If you have any questions or concerns about this, or if you are asked to pay for anything outside of UVM&#8217;s SFS or Program Deposit portals, please contact Sophia Trigg, Director of CAS&#8217;s Office of Experiential Learning &amp; Discovery at <a href=\"mailto:strigg@uvm.edu\">strigg@uvm.edu<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What supports exist for students on-location?<\/summary>\n<p>These are faculty-led travel programs, which means that a UVM faculty member will be on-location with you as you explore. The faculty member will be your primary contact if there are any issues, concerns, emergencies. A WorldStrides staff member will also be on-location for additional support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each program will have a phone App, designed and run by WorldStrides.
