Funding
The CCSC has been made possible thanks to contributions from state, federal, professional, and university funding mechanisms, including:
- The Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) and federal ARP-ESSER funds for VT Act 67 evaluation;
- The UVM Leahy Institute for Rural Partnerships Seed Grant Program in support of Community Schools Extension Activities with interdisciplinary UVM faculty and students;
- Congressionally Funded Community Project (CFCP) administered by the Office of Postsecondary Education, US Department of Education, supported by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to expand the Community Schools model in Vermont;
- The National Education of Research Practice Partnerships (NNERPP) Youth Voice & Leadership Grant Program to bolster youth voice in and for Community Schools; and,
- The Adam and Abigail Burack Green and Gold Endowed Education Professorship funds within the College of Education & Social Services at the University of Vermont.
