She is a professor of nursing and health sciences at the University of Vermont and is actively engaged in developing a core competency in &#8220;health diplomacy&#8221; at the university. Dr. Rycki Maltby&#8217;s background is in community\/public health nursing. She has taught at universities in Canada, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, and has been at UVM since January 2000.
