This year&#8217;s speaker is Dr. Mike Miller Eismeier, who will give a talk entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/site.uvm.edu\/mathcontest\/files\/2026\/05\/mathday-talk_abstract_2026.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"http:\/\/site.uvm.edu\/mathcontest\/files\/2026\/05\/mathday-talk_abstract_2026.pdf\">Inside and Outside, in Practice and Theory<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About Math Day<\/strong><br>State and regional prize winners are honored at Math Day, which is held on the University of Vermont campus in May. The Math Day program includes a math talk on an interesting topic chosen by the year&#8217;s speaker, and an awards luncheon.
