Instructions for Neuroscience Research Proposal for Mentored Research Experience (NSCI 2995/3995)
For students in the neuroscience program, please see the attached documents for more information about NSCI research credits. Please send a completed enrollment form to the course coordinator, Dr. Ryann Guayasamin, including the student’s name and NetID, mentor’s name and lab location (i.e. College of Arts and Sciences, Biology Department), and the course number and number of credits anticipated.
All research credits count towards the total 120 needed for graduation. Neuroscience B.S. majors can use up to 3 credits of research as an advanced elective in the “A or B” category, but this may require an override on your degree audit. Please contact your faculty advisor or the Associate Program Director Dr. Molly Stanley if you have any questions.
