Julia (JJ) Daniell
JJ is a Ph.D. student in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Vermont. She earned an M.Sc. in Parks, Tourism, and Recreation Management from the University of Montana. She earned a B.A. In Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Amherst College, and a Certificate for Sustainable Studies from the Five College Consortium in 2019.
At UVM, JJ continues this interdisciplinary approach in her work with Dr. Newman and Dr. Crump, blending socioecological research with extensive hands-on experience. Her research focuses on natural soundscapes and night skies, with an interest in examining search and rescue patterns over the past decade.
