She earned an M.Sc. in Parks, Tourism, and Recreation Management from the University of Montana. She earned a B.A. In Environmental Studies\u00a0<em>and\u00a0<\/em>Anthropology from Amherst College, and a Certificate for Sustainable Studies from the Five College Consortium in 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At UVM, JJ continues this interdisciplinary approach in her work with Dr. Newman and Dr. Crump, blending socioecological research with extensive hands-on experience.
