We work closely with Dr. Jamie Ostrov’s Social Development Lab at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Ostrov and Dr. Murray-Close collaborate on several grants funded from NSF and NIH (see our Projects page for details). These projects focus on the development of forms and functions of aggressive behavior during early childhood.
Our lab us currently collaborating with Dr. Stacey Doan at Claremont McKenna College. We are developing a new research grant focused on the impact of peer stressors that are common among ethnic-racial minority youth.
We currently have ongoing collaborative projects with Dr. Tuppett Yates at the University of California at Riverside. These projects focus on the longitudinal development of aggressive behavior across childhood and adolescence.
We are currently working with Dr. Qingfang Song on a research project investigating physiological reactivity to exclusion in adjustment outcomes among ethnic-racial minority children.
