Casey Buck, M. A. Casey’s research focuses on the development and outcomes of antisocial behaviors. She is interested in research questions that draw on behavioral, cognitive, and physiological data. Casey’s Masters thesis investigated the longitudinal association between community violence exposure and forms and functions of aggressive behavior, as well as the moderating role of physiological reactivity to fear. Additionally, she is interested in school- and community-based prevention and intervention approaches that focus on reducing disparities, particularly in school disciplinary actions, and enhancing access to mental health services for underserved communities.
