Probing the Physics of Materials in Discovery W121 since 2024!

The Kozen research group at UVM works to understand the fundamental Physics of thin-film materials used in next-generation solid-state batteries, materials for brain-like neuromorphic computing to reduce AI-related power consumption, and next-generation solar technologies. We use atomic layer deposition (ALD) to fabricate thin-film materials with atom-scale precision and control, enabling us to produce a wide range of technologically relevant materials that will help facilitate the 21st century Green revolution!
