Our NSLS Chapter is forming a team to fundraise for the Committee On Temporary Shelter (COTS), and to participate in the fundraising walk on Sunday May 4th! We invite all members and nonmembers to join and donate to our team! We have a lofty goal to raise $2500 for the cause, and need your help! This year the COTS Walk is on Sunday, May 4, 2025. We are raising funds to support COTS, Vermont’s largest provider of services for Vermonters who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or marginally housed.
The focus at COTS is on finding solutions to END homelessness – not simply creating shelters for people who are experiencing homelessness.
This year the COTS Walk theme is “Building a Better Future.” Not only does COTS build new physical spaces to provide shelter, support services, and housing (including the new Waystation Adult Shelter location), we are also building a more just, inclusive, and equitable future for all by advocation for systemic change at all levels. Together, we can take action now to build a better future.
