From 2021 to 2023, the officers and I introduced regular local company seminars and hosted officer-led events for each student about engineering processes.

We also incorporated new projects including micro-mouse, drones, smart dorm systems, and LED projects. We built a 10x10ft maze to test the micro-mouse. Three of the officers and I traveled to MIT to compete in the competition.

By the end of 2023, we were told the club had hit its largest member count.

Team Lead

This one-year internship focused on leading a team of two students to perform market research on research developed at UVM.

The product was a knee brace instrumented with EMG sensors, IMU sensors, and novel algorithms to calculate the force applied to the knee during activity.

We found a relevant market, performed customer discovery interviews, and discussed business development with venture capitalists. I pitched the results of this work at investor events including the M2D2, I2V, and Rise Summit Conferences.

In addition, I participated in the M2D2 12-week accelerator program and the regional i-Corps program.

Club Futsal Founder

As an avid Futsal player, I wanted to bring the game I loved to UVM. It started as five people in the gym playing pick-up. After two years, we had an eight-team league made up of UVM and Norwich University students.
