I truly enjoyed the excitement that came along with discovering vertical lines in the public sphere as a result of this exercise. I began to notice that they not only can be found in infrastructure and among tools of daily living, but also in nature. These lines exist in places both high and low, and across the entirety of The University of Vermont’s campus.





This image is so simple, taken ys on a walk home from class, yet meets the ‘line’ criteria in a variety of ways (the metal sign, the painted road, the trees, the lampposts, etc.)
