CIRCLES/ROUNDNESS (STILL IMAGE EXERCISE #2)

Circles and round shapes exist in far more places than one would expect to find them! I enjoyed locating them in places where they could be used to express animate qualities within inanimate objects, while also discovering them in practical areas throughout UVM, and beyond.

This is by far my favorite circles/roundness image. I love how five simple little circles create a face and bring joy to anyone who walks by the bathroom.
I find this image captivating because of the circles found within circles; it is visually engaging and I knew I had to include it.
My entire hockey career ‘circles’ have been a form of sprinting that coaches use to encourage endurance in their skaters.
I saw these circles on a switch as I was leaving the FTS lab, they are truly everywhere! Even spaces which we occupy on the daily.
This little dino has a lovely round head and a cute round eye which I found not only adorable, but also perfect for demonstrating this concept.
One’s eye is immediately drawn to the larger circle in the center, but I find that the nails add additional meaning. Nails are in so many objects – meaning that circles are too!
