UVM Field Naturalist Program
An educational program for people wanting to be field naturalists. The program is at the Master’s degree level. Students develop a master’s project partnership with consulting organizations like land trusts, state agencies, and others, with the intent of help boost public engagement with the land. Having a filed naturalist may help land managers looking to boost public engagement with land.

Biofinder is a mapping tool for identifying ecosystems and natural areas. It can provide information on the landscape, ecosystem, and species level.
Conserving Vermont’s Natural heritage
A guidebook published by VTFW for conservation managers making land-use decisions, highlighting areas of Vermont with significant natural and/or cultural value. The book also covers the science and process of conserving land, different elements of VT natural heritage, and other information.
