The UVM Agilent Laboratory for Chemical Analysis (ALCA) supports research and instruction across multiple disciplines by providing access to advanced analytical instrumentation, technical expertise, and user training. ALCA maintains a close partnership with Agilent Technologies, supporting the integration and effect use of advanced analytical instrumentation within the facility. Since the laboratory’s opening in 2022, this relationship has helped ensure reliable operation and alignment with current best analytical practices in research and teaching. We are grateful for Agilent’s continued collaboration and support in advancing analytical capabilities at the University of Vermont.

Who Can Use ALCA?
ALCA supports research across chemistry, environmental science, biology, agriculture and materials science. The facility is available to the following user groups:

Access to ALCA instrumentation will require training and adherence to the facility policies.
