The Licensing Program in a partnership with Collegiate Licensing Company regulates, promotes and protects the commercial use of the University’s name and identifying marks. This includes granting approval for use of our registered marks – The University of Vermont (our name); UVM (abbreviated version of our name); the official University seal; Catamounts (our mascot); the Tower logo; the V-Cat logos and other logos/designs referring to the University. A major emphasis of the Licensing Program is to ensure that all products using the University’s name, marks and symbols are of good taste and quality.
