Richard Galbraith

Professor of Medicine and Director of the Vermont Center for Clinical and Translational Science

Richard Galbraith is Professor of Medicine and Director of the Vermont
Center for Clinical and Translational Science. He received his MD and
underwent his training as an internist at King’s College, London. He
received a PhD from the Medical University of South Carolina and served
on the faculty prior to relocating to the Rockefeller University in New
York. There he served as the Director of the General Clinical Research
Center and the Rockefeller University Hospital. His research interests
have focused on the protean roles of heme in human and animal biology.
