Faculty at Harvard, Tufts, and MIT are collaborating on a new workshop for June, 2011 on water diplomacy. This week-long train-the-trainer workshop, titled “Water Diplomacy: Managing the Science, Policy, and Politics of Water Networks through Negotiation”, is aimed at water professionals and community leaders from around the world. Through a highly interactive, hands-on program, water professionals and community leaders will improve their abilities to practice and teach the theory, strategies, and techniques of network management for water diplomacy. Dr. Lawrence Susskind, board member of IEDS, will co-teach the workshop with Dr. Shafiqul Islam, director of the Water Diplomacy Program at Tufts University.
