BePeace Training: From Costa Rica to Vermont! April 13-16, 2011

April 13, 2011 – April 16, 2011

Location:  Charlotte, VT

A four day BePeace training program will take place in Charlotte, Vermont from April 13 to 16. BePeace builds social and emotional intelligence by combining the HeartMath method for “feeling peace” and the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) technique for “speaking peace.”

BePeace brings together the essence of Heartmath and Non-Violent Communication in a synergistic approach that is the clearest ‘how to’ you will find for embodying peace. It teaches participants to feel peace, speak peace, and then teach peace.

The BePeace technique was developed by Rita Marie Johnson, who also founded Rasur International to work in three areas: advocacy for governmental infrastructures of peace, building citizens’ social and emotional intelligence for peace, and peace promotion that reinforces the national identity with a culture of peace.

The upcoming 32 hour BePeace foundations training is sponsored by the National Peace Academy, headquarted in Shelburne, VT. The National Peace Academy is an organization that supports, advances, and nurtures cultures of peace in the United States by conducting research and facilitating learning toward the development of peace systems – local to global, personal to professional.
