

After a long pandemic hiatus from in-person workshops, shepherds gathered at Shelburne Farms for the 2022 Vermont Sheep and Goat Association Lambing Clinic on Saturday, March 5.
Master Shepherd Chet Parsons covered the basics from ewe nutrition, early signs of labor, and when to intervene in a difficult labor, to demonstration of various procedures such as tail docking, castrating, tube feeding and hoof trimming.
