Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences Assistant Professor Andrea Etter’s lab had their first manuscript accepted for publication in Frontiers in Veterinary Science, detailing the results from three years of adult backyard chicken sampling for Salmonella enterica. Proctor Maple Road Named, Maple Producers Manual Updated
The driveway at the Proctor Maple Research Center (PMRC) now has a name. The Town of Underhill had requested it be named for E911 purposes. Because this is the 75th Anniversary year of PMRC, UVM chose “Marvin Taylor Road” to honor the founders, Dr. James Marvin and Dr. Fred Taylor. Research on Climate Change and Lake Champlain’s Legacy Phosphorus Published
Community Development and Applied Economics Professor Asim Zia is receiving media coverage after the publication of a research paper entitled, “Climate Change-Legacy Phosphorus Synergy Hinders Lake Response to Aggressive Water Policy Targets.” The research investigated the impacts that climate change is having on the ability to meet water quality standards in Lake Champlain.
