
Ben Dangl, lecturer in the Dept. of Community Development and Applied Economics, spent spring break in La Paz, Bolivia as part of his research on social and political change within the country. While there, he presented his research in talks at the Universidad Mayor de San Andres and the Universidad Publica de El Alto focusing on local Indigenous movements and the decolonization of Bolivian history. Costa comes from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where he was an assistant professor in the Department of Animal and Food Science. His expertise is in precision dairy and dairy cattle management as related to behavior, nutrition, One Health, welfare, and sustainability.
