Jen LeFebre, Community Health Worker

Jen LeFebreJen LeFebre was hired as a community health worker in southern Vermont for UVM Extension’s Bridges to Health/Migrant Health program. She is based in the Rutland office.

LeFebre earned a Master of Arts in Education from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. She was an elementary and middle school Spanish teacher in Vermont for eleven years before switching gears. Continue reading “November 2022 CALS New Hire”

Proctor Center, Director Recognized for Contributions to Maple Syrup Research

Several maple trees are being tapped for sap during late winter, with snow on the group and tubing attached to many trees.

The UVM Proctor Maple Research Center (PMRC) was awarded the Richard G. Haas Distinguished Service Award from the North American Maple Syrup Council (NAMSC), in recognition of 75 years of demonstration and outreach in support of the North American maple industry.
