Halloween Barn returned in full force this year after a few years’ hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The event, held annually at the UVM Horse Barn for the past two decades, welcomes community members and their families to trick or treat through the horse barn stalls where they are greeted by students and their horses in costume.

Corinne Cooper, Extension Administrative Assistant
Corinne Cooper has joined Extension after spending almost nine years as the assistant town clerk for Berlin, VT, where she was responsible for compiling the annual town report, updating records, and addressing resident concerns. Belliveau Receives 2022 John Dewey Society Award
UVM Nutrition and Food Sciences Research Assistant Professor Cynthia Belliveau has been awarded the 2022 John Dewey Society Award for Outstanding Achievement. She led the development and implementation (with Dr. Lisa Heldke of Gustavus Adolphus College) of the UVM John Dewey Kitchen Institute, which is located within the Nutrition and Food Sciences Department.
