Over the course of six weeks between January to March 2023, Katie Black, a nutrition educator with UVM Extensions Community Nutrition Education program, launched a collaboration with North Country Supervisory Unions (NCSU) Community Schools Coordinator Samantha Stevens, and Carrie Lucas, North Country Union High School (NCUHS) special educator. New Leek Moth Information Center Provides Pest Management Tactics
Not only is Tax Day right around the corner, mid-April also means the annual return of leek moths in our region. Leek moth is a pest of members of the allium family including onions, garlic, leeks, chives and shallots.
