2022 Agritourism Conference Proceedings Available Online

The International Workshop on Agritourism (IWA) 2022 Conference Proceedings is now available online. The publication is intended to increase access to the scholarship that was shared during the three-day conference, which was hosted by UVM Extension in Burlington, VT, on August 30 to September 1, 2022.

VT Dairy Mapping Project Kicks Off at UVM Dairy Farm

During the summer of 2023, the Vermont Dairy Mapping Project launched with a team that visited several dairy farms to interview farmers about their disease-prevention biosecurity practices. The project team collected information that will be used to prepare a disease outbreak response plan for each farm, based on the national Secure Milk Supply Plan template. The team also “field tested” a new online mapping application that was developed to make the visual mapping part of a plan easier to create. Pringle Herbarium Botanists Embark on Third Expedition to Colombia

The Ferns of Colombia team, including Sarah K. Morris, Plant Biology doctoral candidate, and longtime Pringle Herbarium Associates Dr. Michael Sundue & Dr. Weston Testo, completed a successful third expedition to Colombia for the National Science Foundation-funded Ferns of Colombia project.
