Community Development and Applied Economics Professor Jane Kolodinsky has been appointed to the New England Public Policy Center Advisory Board. The board was formed in 2006 to advise the Center staff on research projects in a variety of areas including community development. They also advise on how to disseminate the Center’s work strategically throughout the New England region.

A letter from the Center’s director inviting Kolodinsky to join the board stated that her experience and research expertise would make her a strong contributor to the group. The invitation went on to state that “the Center’s members are their deepest connection to the groups and individuals that are engaged in development and implementation of the policies they research.”

Current advisory board members representing Vermont include Thomas Kavet of Kavet, Rockler & Associates, and Joyce Manchester of the Vermont Legislative Joint Fiscal Office.

The mission of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s New England Public Policy Center is to promote better public policy in New England, by conducting and disseminating objective, high-quality research and analysis of strategically identified regional economic and policy issues.
