Vander Gac (they/them) joined UVM in February as a communications professional for Northeast SARE. Gac’s role includes writing and producing content to share the stories of Northeast SARE with potential applicants, grantees, supporters, partners, and the farming public. UVM Animal and Veterinary Sciences students enrolled in Advanced Dairy Management at the W.H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute have successfully competed for acceptance into the Cornerstone Dairy Academy, offered through the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin.
