ASCI Students Accepted into Cornerstone Dairy Academy

UVM Animal and Veterinary Sciences students enrolled in Advanced Dairy Management at the W.H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute have successfully competed for acceptance into the Cornerstone Dairy Academy, offered through the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin. They will be attending a two-day conference in the Wisconsin Dells in during March, 2022.

The Cornerstone Dairy Academy is for dairy industry members from across the country, and focused on building leadership skills at a dynamic professional-development training. Participation in this conference is intended to be a gateway to enhancing professionalism, communication and leadership skills needed for success in a 21st century workplace. This serves as an elite development program for students and dairy professionals.

The three students from Vermont are graduating seniors enrolled in the 2+2 FARMS program. We look forward to them utilizing their leadership skills as they become active leaders for the dairy industry.
