Join the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) and UVM Northeast Center to Advance Food Safety (NECAFS) Research Specialist Sean Fogarty, for an educational webinar about produce safety in hydroponic and aquaponic crop production systems. The webinar, Foundations of Produce Safety in Hydroponic and Aquaponic Operations, will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EDT.

Hydroponic and aquaponic operations are growing rapidly in popularity, number, and scale. In this webinar hosted by IAFP’s Produce Safety & Quality Professional Development Group, they will introduce the diversity of hydroponic and aquaponic operations, key concepts for produce safety risk assessment, and primary considerations for FSMA Produce Safety Rule compliance. They will also solicit feedback from the audience about their experiences and questions regarding produce safety in hydroponics and aquaponics.
