The 2023 annual meeting of the Vermont Vegetable and Berry Growers Association (VVBGA) was held on January 24 at the Capital Plaza in Montpelier. Community Development and Applied Economics Professor Asim Zia is receiving media coverage after the publication of a research paper entitled, “Climate Change-Legacy Phosphorus Synergy Hinders Lake Response to Aggressive Water Policy Targets.” The research investigated the impacts that climate change is having on the ability to meet water quality standards in Lake Champlain.
