Since 2017, the Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program has worked with the Arbor Day Foundation and local partners to give free trees to Vermonters through the Community Canopy Program.
In early June of 2023, 750 trees of four different species went to residents of Bellows Falls, Burlington, and St. Albans. A big thank you to the Winooski Valley Park District, Edmunds Elementary School, Bellows Falls Middle School and St. Albans City School!
