The following CALS faculty have received awards for their excellence in teaching and research.
- Extension Professor Heather Darby – 2023 Hubert W. Vogelmann Award for Excellence in Research and Scholarship
- Community Development and Applied Economics (CDAE) Lecturer Ben Dangl – Joseph E. Carrigan Award
- Department of Plant Biology Emeritus Senior Lecturer Cathy Paris – President’s Distinguished University Citizenship and Service Award
- Community Development and Applied Economics Assistant Professor Dan Tobin – Kroepsch-Maurice Excellence in Teaching Award
- Community Development and Applied Economics Lecturer II Ryan G. Kriger – Part-time Faculty Award. Ryan Kriger, a consumer protection attorney for the Federal Trade Commission, teaches classes on privacy law, consumer protection, and public policy. He aims not only to educate students about the law, but also to provide them with practical skills that will help them to protect themselves in the marketplace and online.
CALS Excellence in Teamwork and Staff Support Awards
Four members of the Community Development and Applied Economics Department (CDAE) staff received the 2023 CALS Excellence in Staff Teamwork Award. They are:
