Community Development and Applied Economics Professor Jane Kolodinsky has been appointed to the New England Public Policy Center Advisory Board. The board was formed in 2006 to advise the Center staff on research projects in a variety of areas including community development. ASCI Students Test Paprika and Marigold Supplements in Laying Hens
We have chickens at the Paul R. Miller Research and Education Center! As a part of Animal and Veterinary Sciences Associate Professor Sabrina Greenwood’s teaching lab, students in ASCI 242 (Advanced Animal Nutrition) are helping to care for laying hens, and are adding paprika and marigold to their diets to see the impact of these common plant-based supplements on egg yolk color.
