Gosliga Farm in Addison, VT, is welcoming over a thousand guests on July 16, 2022, to see how they care for their cows. Vermont Breakfast on the Farm has been coordinating on farm breakfast and tour events since 2015.
Virtual live tours were held in 2020 and 2021, so we are excited to be heading back to the farm in person this summer. UVM Animal & Veterinary Science (ASCI) faculty, staff, and students have helped coordinate and conduct the event over the years. ASCI Research Associate Professor Julie Smith oversees both the visitor biosecurity logistics and the evaluation of the visitor experience.
Anyone with animal science or dairy experience is welcome to volunteer to make the event a success. Promote the event to your friends! Admission is free, but attendees need to reserve a ticket in advance.
