  15. A blast from the past: Vermont farmer first to capture photos of snowflakes in 1885 – Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley from Jericho, VT, was the first person to successfully photograph a snowflake. He collaborated with George Henry Perkins, UVM natural history professor, to publish an article in which Bentley argued that no two snow crystals were alike. Antique Trader.
