The annual student field day, headed by CALS Student Services, was held on August 25 at the Paul R. Miller Research and Educational Center (Miller Farm). Several buses brought students to and from the farm to enjoy a fun-filled event that welcomes new first-year and transfer students.
Students were able to meet faculty and staff from each CALS department to discuss majors. They also interacted with student club members, met the student-named dairy calf Janet, took tours of the dairy barn and horse barn, enjoyed UVM ice cream, received t-shirts, and got to meet other new students as well.
