Over the last 35 years, the UVM Morgan Horse Farm has offered students and community members the chance to learn beside industry professionals from the Middlebury, VT area.

At the end of March 2023, the Morgan Horse farm welcomed 25 participants alongside Dr. Mary O’Donovan, Dr. Kathleen Gill of Meadowbrook Equine, Dr. Molly Witters, and Karen Lassell of the Miner Institute, for an equine reproduction workshop. The students and community members spent the second day of the workshop getting up close and personal with the horses at the farm. Students and community members were given hands-on instruction on the ins and out of equine reproduction.

This event could not have happened without these excellent sponsors:

  • Animal Reproduction Systems, Inc.
  • Minitube.
  • Exodus Breeders Supply.

A huge thank you to the Morgan Horse Farm staff and community for helping organize and put on this event.
