ASCI Students Accepted into Cornerstone Dairy Academy

UVM Animal and Veterinary Sciences students enrolled in Advanced Dairy Management at the W.H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute have successfully competed for acceptance into the Cornerstone Dairy Academy, offered through the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin. Lisa Flinn, Extension Administrative Assistant, Operations and Staff Support

Lisa FlinnLisa Flinn is an administrative assistant at the St. Johnsbury Extension office, and brings 20 years of experience in the administrative assistant field. Prior to joining Extension, Flinn held positions as an administrative assistant with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont for 20 years, Northern Power Systems for four years, Central Vermont Medical Center for five years and Littleton Regional Health Care for three years. Kindstedt Honored with Wisconsin Cheese Makers Award

UVM Nutrition and Food Sciences Professor Paul Kindstedt has been honored with the 2022 Babcock Award by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association. Named for Stephen Babcock, the famed agricultural chemist and University of Wisconsin professor, this award recognizes the contributions of those in education or affiliate organizations partnering with cheesemakers in the pursuit of dairy industry innovation and excellence.
